Why this kit

Air Lift sells the springs and the compressor as separate part numbers, so most buyers end up ordering twice or installing bags with a Schrader valve and a gas station hose. This kit puts the two halves together at the value price point: the LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate rear air springs for the 2004-2014 Ford F-150 4WD, rated to level up to 5,000 lb of pin weight or payload, and the LoadController II single-path compressor with a dash-mounted gauge and inflate/deflate switch. Both springs inflate together from the cab, which is all a centered trailer or camper load needs. The Ultimate springs carry an internal jounce bumper so they can run at zero pressure when the truck is empty without damage.

Questions

Single path or dual path?

Single path inflates both springs together to the same pressure, which is right for a centered load like a gooseneck or fifth wheel. If your load sits off to one side, the WirelessAir V2 version of this kit runs each side independently.

Does this raise my towing capacity?

No. Air springs level the truck and restore ride height and headlight aim under load. Your GVWR and tow ratings do not change.

Can I run the bags empty?

Yes. The Ultimate series has an internal jounce bumper that protects the spring at zero pressure.

Where does the gauge go?

The gauge and switch mount in the cab (dash, console or a gauge pod). The compressor mounts under the truck or in the bed and wires to a fused 12V source.

How long does installation take?

The springs are a 1 to 2 hour bolt-in on the F-150 leaf pack. The compressor is another 1 to 2 hours for mounting, wiring to a fused 12V source and routing air line.

What is the warranty?

Air Lift covers the air springs with a limited lifetime warranty and the compressor system for 2 years. Warranties are processed through the original place of purchase, so keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
