Bilstein 5100 Front & Rear Shock Kit | 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado / GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD 2WD/4WD | 1-2.5 in Front Leveling Lift
Good to know before you buy
Fits
- 2001-2010 Chevy Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD, 2WD and 4WD, with 1 to 2.5 in of front leveling lift from the torsion bars or torsion keys, 0 to 1 in rear lift
Does not fit: Trucks with the front at factory ride height, Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500, trucks lifted more than 2.5 in front or more than 1 in rear
Why this kit
The four-shock Bilstein 5100 set for the first-generation GM HD trucks that have been leveled. Turning up the torsion bars or adding leveling keys raises the front and leaves the factory front shock too short, so the 24-186735 front is built longer for 1 to 2.5 in of front lift. The 24-186742 rear covers 0 to 1 in of rear lift, which matches a leveled truck with a stock rear. Both are 46mm Bilstein monotubes with velocity-sensitive digressive valving and a limited lifetime warranty, in one order with the front and rear part numbers already matched.

Questions
My truck is at factory height. Is this the right kit?
No. The 24-186735 front is listed for 1 to 2.5 in of front lift. For a truck with the torsion bars at the factory setting, message us with your year and model and we will match the stock-height front shock.
I have leveling keys. Will this work?
Yes, as long as the front sits 1 to 2.5 in above stock. That is the range most torsion key leveling kits produce.
Does this fit a Silverado 1500 or Sierra 1500?
No. This kit is scoped to the 2500HD and 3500HD.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side. Fronts on the GM HD torsion bar suspension are a bolt-in shock, about 30 to 45 minutes per side, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty on all four shocks through Bilstein North America, processed through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
