Why this kit
The complete Bilstein 5100 refresh for a leveled Super Duty: all four shocks plus the steering damper, in one order with the part numbers already matched. The 24-274951 fronts are built for 2 to 2.5 in of front lift, the 24-274968 rears for 0 to 1 in of rear lift, and the 24-286558 damper replaces the factory steering stabilizer that is usually worn out by the time the shocks are. Every piece is a 46mm Bilstein monotube with digressive valving and a limited lifetime warranty.

Each part ships in its own Bilstein box. Kit price equals the sum of the five parts at manufacturer minimum advertised price.
Questions
Why add the steering damper?
On a solid front axle the steering damper controls wheel shimmy and steering kickback. Larger tires on a leveled truck load it harder, and the factory unit is a wear item. Replacing it with the shocks saves a second job later.
Is this one damper or two?
One. The Super Duty uses a single factory damper and this 5100 is a direct replacement. Dual stabilizer setups require a separate bracket kit.
My truck is stock height. Is this the right kit?
No. The 24-274951 front is for a truck leveled 2 to 2.5 in. Use the Bilstein 4600 Front & Rear Kit for a stock height Super Duty.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side, fronts 30 to 45 minutes per side, damper 20 minutes. All bolt-in on the Super Duty solid axle, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty on all five parts through Bilstein North America, processed through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
