How this leveling kit works
This is not a spacer kit and it does not include new springs. The lift comes from the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable strut itself. You remove your factory front strut assemblies, transfer your factory coil springs and upper strut mounts onto the new 5100 struts, and set the lower spring seat in one of the four snap-ring grooves machined into the strut body. A higher groove adds preload to your stock coil and raises the front of the truck, from factory height up to about 1.85 in. The rear shocks are direct replacements for the factory rears and do not change rear height.
- You reuse: factory coil springs, upper strut mounts, isolators and factory mounting bolts
- You replace: both front strut and damper assemblies, both rear shocks
- You need: a spring compressor (or a shop) to move the coils, and an alignment after install
Why this kit
The Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable strut is the best-value leveling kit for the K2 Silverado and Sierra: it gives you the lift and a 46mm monotube damper in the same piece instead of stacking a spacer on the soft factory strut. The 33-238319 rears are the matching 5100 for a stock or 0 to 1 in rear. This kit puts the correct four part numbers together for a truck that sits level, clears a 285/70R17, and rides better than it did new, with a limited lifetime warranty on every piece.

Questions
How much lift will I get?
You choose. The strut has four snap-ring grooves; the lowest is factory height and the highest is about 1.85 in of front lift, which brings the nose level with the rear. The groove chart is in the Bilstein instructions and on our single strut listing.
Do I need a spring compressor?
Yes. The factory coil transfers to the new strut, which requires a spring compressor or a shop. Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours per side for the fronts, 20 to 30 minutes per side for the rears, and an alignment afterward.
My truck has Magnetic Ride Control. Will this fit?
No. Magneride trucks use a different strut and electronic damper. Bilstein offers a separate conversion set for those.
What tire size fits at full lift?
Up to a 285/70R17 or 285/65R18 on the factory wheel at the top setting. Aftermarket wheels with less backspacing may need minor trimming.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty on all four dampers through Bilstein North America, processed through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
