How this leveling kit works
This is not a spacer kit and it does not include new springs. The lift comes from the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable strut. You transfer your factory coil springs and upper mounts onto the new struts and set the lower spring seat in one of the snap-ring grooves on the strut body, from factory height up to about 2.1 in. The 2WD-specific 5100 rears are direct replacements for the factory rear shocks and do not change rear height.
- You reuse: factory coil springs, upper strut mounts, isolators and mounting bolts
- You replace: both front strut and damper assemblies, both rear shocks
- You need: a spring compressor (or a shop) to move the coils, and an alignment after install
Why this kit
2WD F-150s get the same treatment 4WD owners rave about: the 5100 gives you the lift and a 46mm monotube shock in the same piece, so you are not stacking a spacer on a worn factory strut. Owners report 2.1 in up front levels a 2WD crew cab with room for 33 in tires on factory wheels. The 2WD rears (33-253237) are the correct length for a 2WD rear so the truck rides level and controlled on all four corners.

Questions
Which setting should I use?
2.1 in levels most 2WD crew cabs. Go 1.75 in if you tow or haul often and want a little rake left.
Do I need a spring compressor?
Yes. The factory coil transfers to the new strut. Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours per side for the fronts, 20 to 30 minutes per side for the rears, and an alignment afterward.
Do I need upper control arms?
Not at the 2.1 in maximum this strut provides.
What tire size fits at full lift?
33 in tires (275/65R20 or 285/70R17) on factory wheels with minor trimming.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty on all four dampers through Bilstein North America, processed through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
