Why the Bilstein 5100
Leveled or lifted trucks that want a direct-fit monotube shock valved for the extra ride height and larger tires. The Bilstein 5100 for your 1999-2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 / GMC Sierra 1500 2WD/4WD is a 46mm monotube shock with velocity-sensitive digressive valving, tuned per application for lifted ride heights. Bilstein's monotube design keeps oil and gas separated by a floating piston, so damping does not fade as the shock heats, and the digressive piston firms up on sharp inputs while staying compliant over small bumps.

Questions
Is this one shock or a pair?
One shock. Bilstein sells truck shocks individually, so order two for one axle or four for the whole truck.
Is this for a stock or lifted truck?
Bilstein lists this part number as a direct fit for this application; T14 did not state a specific lift height. Check the collapsed and extended length against your current shock if the truck is lifted.
How long does installation take?
Rear shocks are a 20 to 30 minute job per side with hand tools. Front strut-type shocks need a spring compressor and take one to two hours per side.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty (Bilstein North America). Bilstein warranties are non-transferable and processed through the original place of purchase, so keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
