How this kit works
The 6112 replaces the entire front strut assembly: a 60mm monotube body, new application-specific coil springs, and an adjustable lower spring seat that sets front height from stock to about 2.8 in. You do not reuse your factory coils, so sagging springs go away with the old struts. The kit ships unassembled; the spring, seat and strut are assembled on a spring compressor and bolted in with your factory upper mount. The 5100 rears are direct replacements for the factory rear shocks.
- You reuse: factory upper strut mounts and mounting bolts
- You replace: both front struts and coil springs, both rear shocks
- You need: a spring compressor (or a shop) to assemble the fronts, and an alignment after install
Why this kit
On a 4th gen Ram the 5100 is the value level and the 6112 is the better all-around front for a truck on 35s, a heavy bumper, or regular dirt. The 60mm body holds more oil and a bigger piston, the matched spring corrects for added weight and tired factory coils, and the ride is controlled without being harsh. Set it at about 2 in on stock upper control arms, or higher with aftermarket UCAs and a diff drop. This kit pairs it with 5100 rears; step to the 6112 + 5160 kit if you tow or run washboard regularly.

Questions
Do I get new springs?
Yes. The 6112 includes application-specific coil springs. Your factory coils and any spacer come off the truck.
Does it come assembled?
No. The 6112 ships as strut, spring and seat, and needs a spring compressor to assemble. Plan on 2 hours per side including assembly, plus an alignment.
Do I need upper control arms?
Not at 2.1 in or below. Above that, plan on UCAs and a differential drop on 4WD to control ball joint and CV angles.
I have a 2019 to 2024 Ram 1500 Classic. Is this my kit?
Yes. The Classic is the 4th gen body and takes this kit.
What is the warranty?
