Why this kit
A real FOX front lift for the T1 Silverado and Sierra 1500, not a spacer. The 985-02-156 is FOX's taller coilover for this truck: a complete 2.0 Performance Series IFP strut, spring and top mount with preload rings that set the front anywhere from 2 to 3.5 in above stock. At that height the factory stamped upper arm runs out of ball-joint angle, which is why FOX lists aftermarket UCAs as required with this coilover, so the kit includes a pair of FOX billet upper control arms (803-35-009, orange anodize) with 1.25 in uniballs and chromoly heims that restore the geometry and alignment range. Two 985-24-269 IFP rears finish the truck. Four FOX dampers and two arms, one part number to order, and the lift, control arms and shocks are all from the same engineering team.

Questions
Do I need the UCAs?
Yes. FOX lists aftermarket upper control arms as required with the 985-02-156 at 2 to 3.5 in of lift. That is why they are in the kit rather than an option. If you already have aftermarket arms, use the 2019-2026 Chevy/GMC 1500 coilover and shock kit with the 985-02-134 instead, or ask us and we will pair the 985-02-156 with your rears.
Trail Boss or AT4?
Those trims already sit 2 in higher from the factory, so FOX rates this coilover at 1.5 in of additional lift on them. Same part numbers, same kit.
What about the rear?
The rears in this kit are FOX's stock-height shock for the T1 truck, which is right if you are leveling the front only. If you add rear blocks or springs to lift the whole truck, the rear shocks may need to be longer; ask us before ordering.
Black UCAs?
FOX makes the same arm in black anodize (803-35-008). Stock is limited; ask us and we will swap it into the kit when it is available.
How long does installation take?
Plan on a half day: coilovers are a strut swap at 45 to 60 minutes per side, the UCAs about an hour per side, rears 20 to 30 minutes per side. Alignment afterward is required.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks and coilovers purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. The billet UCAs carry FOX's limited warranty. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
