Why this kit
The complete Fox 2.0 leveling set for the fourth generation Ram 1500 4WD in one order. The 983-02-050 is a full coilover assembly: 2.0 Performance Series IFP strut, FOX-selected coil spring, top mount and locking preload rings, so it drops in place of the factory strut with no spring compressor and the ride height is set on the rings from stock to 2 in of front lift. Two of those up front and two 985-24-032 IFP rears for the coil-sprung rear at stock height. Same aluminum body and race-derived piston across all four, so the truck levels, stops the porpoising the coil-rear Ram does over expansion joints, and keeps a trailer planted.

Questions
Is this a leveling kit?
Yes, in effect. The coilover replaces the factory strut and spring and the preload rings set the front anywhere from stock to 2 in higher, which removes the factory rake. No spacer, no spring compressor. FOX ships them set toward the top of the range; back the rings off for less lift.
Ram 1500 Classic or new body?
The 2019-2023 Classic is the same truck as the 2009-2018 and this kit fits it. The new-body 2019+ Ram 1500 (DT) uses different parts. FOX also lists this front for the 2006-2008 Ram 1500 4WD.
Do I need upper control arms?
Not at 2 in or below. If you run the rings all the way up or add a spacer on top, FOX recommends aftermarket UCAs to keep the ball joint angle and alignment in range.
How long does installation take?
Fronts are a strut swap, about 45 to 60 minutes per side with the coilover already assembled. Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side. Get an alignment afterward.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks and coilovers purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
