- 2011-2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD, 2WD and 4WD, at stock height or with up to 1 in of lift
Does not fit: trucks leveled 1.5 in or more with torsion keys or spacers (use the 1.5-3.5 in Front Leveling kit), trucks with a 4 in or taller lift kit
Why this kit
FOX sells its 2.0 Performance Series shocks one at a time, so a full set means picking four part numbers by lift band. This is the stock-height set for the 2011-2019 GM HD: two 980-24-963 fronts for 0 to 1 in of front lift and two 980-24-664 rears for 0 to 1 in of rear lift. Each is a 2 in aluminum-body monotube with an internal floating piston separating the oil from the nitrogen, so the damping stays consistent when hot and there is no foaming on long washboard or with a trailer working the rear leaf springs. Firmer and more planted than the factory shocks on a torsion-bar HD, with FOX's race-derived high-flow piston and application-specific valving.

Questions
Fox 2.0 or Bilstein 4600 for a stock 2500HD?
Both are direct fits. The Bilstein is the OE-plus choice with a slightly softer highway ride. The Fox 2.0 is firmer, more controlled off pavement and under load, and is the shock most owners pick when the truck sees dirt roads or a heavy trailer regularly.
I turned the torsion keys up. Is this still the right set?
Up to 1 in of key adjustment stays on this set. If the front sits 1.5 in or more above stock, use the 1.5-3.5 in Front Leveling kit, which pairs the longer 985-24-189 front with this same 980-24-664 rear.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side with hand tools. Fronts on the GM independent front suspension bolt to the lower control arm and the frame, about 30 to 45 minutes per side, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
