Fox 2.0 Performance IFP Front & Rear Shock Kit | 2014-2026 Ram 2500 2WD/4WD | 0-2 in Front Lift
Good to know before you buy
Fits
- 2014-2026 Ram 2500 2WD/4WD, coil-spring rear, stock height through 2 in of front lift and 0 to 1.5 in of rear lift
Does not fit: Ram 3500 (leaf rear, see the Ram 3500 kit), trucks lifted 3 in or more, factory rear air suspension
Why this kit
One Fox 2.0 set that covers both the stock Ram 2500 and the most common 2 in leveled truck. The 985-24-168 front is sized for 0 to 2 in of front lift, so it works at factory height and after a 2 in leveling kit, and the 985-24-169 rear is the coil-rear shock for a stock or 0 to 1.5 in rear. Each is a 2 in aluminum-body monotube with an internal floating piston, firmer and more planted than the factory shocks, and the fix for the porpoising a coil-sprung Ram HD does over expansion joints with a trailer on. FOX sells them individually; this kit puts the correct four in one order.

Questions
Ram 2500 or Ram 3500?
Since 2014 the 2500 uses a five-link coil rear and the 3500 uses leaf springs, so the rear shocks differ. This kit is 2500 only. The Ram 3500 kit uses the same front with the 980-24-943 leaf-rear shock.
Stock truck or leveled, does it matter?
Not for this kit. The 0 to 2 in front covers both. If the truck is lifted 3 in or more, use the 4-6 in kit or the individual 3-4 in front.
Fox 2.0 or Bilstein 5100?
Both fit. The Bilstein is the softer highway ride; the Fox 2.0 is firmer, more controlled off pavement and under load. Owners who tow heavy or run dirt roads tend to prefer the Fox.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side. Fronts on the Ram solid axle are a bolt-in shock, about 30 to 45 minutes per side, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
