Fits
- 2011-2019 Chevy Silverado 2500HD/3500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD, 2WD and 4WD, with 1.5 to 3.5 in of front lift and 1.5 to 2.5 in of rear lift
Does not fit: stock height trucks, trucks with the rear raised 3 in or more, trucks with a 4 in or taller lift kit (use the 4-6 in kit)
Why this kit
The step up from the Fox 2.0 for a leveled or 2 to 3 in lifted GM HD, without going to a remote reservoir. The 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO uses a 2.5 in body with a larger piston and much more oil, so it runs cooler and holds its damping longer on a heavy truck than a 2.0 can, while staying a simple bolt-in. Two 987-24-031 fronts for 1.5 to 3.5 in of front lift and two 987-24-011 rears for 1.5 to 2.5 in of rear lift, the pairing FOX lists for a keyed or spacer-leveled front with blocks in the rear. This is the shock for the Duramax that tows every weekend and is going to keep doing it.

Questions
2.5 HTO or 2.0 IFP?
Same FOX valving philosophy. The 2.5 has a larger body and piston and roughly 50 percent more oil, so it fades less on long rough roads and under heavy loads. If the truck is a daily driver that occasionally tows, the 2.0 kit is the value pick. If it works hard every week, the 2.5.
Leveled front, stock rear?
Keep this 987-24-031 front and use the 987-24-009 rear (0 to 1 in), sold individually, or ask us and we will pair them for you.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side with hand tools. Fronts on the GM independent front suspension bolt to the lower control arm and the frame, about 30 to 45 minutes per side, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
