Why this kit
The step up from the Fox 2.0 for a GM HD on a 4 to 6 in drop-bracket lift, without going to a remote reservoir. The 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO uses a 2.5 in body with a larger piston and much more oil, so it runs cooler and holds its damping longer on a heavy truck than a 2.0 can, while staying a simple bolt-in. Two 987-24-032 fronts and two 987-24-035 rears, both sized for 4 to 6 in of lift, so a tall Duramax on 35s or 37s stops wallowing over dips and keeps its composure on washboard with a trailer on.

Questions
2.5 HTO or 2.0 IFP?
Same FOX valving philosophy. The 2.5 has a larger body and piston and roughly 50 percent more oil, so it fades less on long rough roads and under heavy loads. If the truck is a daily driver that occasionally tows, the 2.0 4-6 in kit is the value pick. If it works hard every week or sees real dirt, the 2.5.
Will the fronts clear my lift kit's brackets?
The 2.5 body is a half inch larger in diameter than the 2.0. FOX lists it for the common 4-6 in GM HD drop-bracket kits; if your kit uses a tight-fitting front shock bracket, check clearance around the lower mount before ordering.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side with hand tools. Fronts are a bolt-in swap at the lift kit's lower mount and the frame, about 30 to 45 minutes per side.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
