Why this kit
The step up from the Fox 2.0 for a lifted Super Duty without going to a remote reservoir. The 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO uses a 2.5 in body with a larger piston and much more oil, so it runs cooler and holds its damping longer on a heavy truck than a 2.0 can, while staying a simple bolt-in with no reservoir to mount. Two 987-24-020 fronts and two 987-24-021 rears, both sized for 4 to 6 in of lift, so a tall truck on 35s or 37s stops wallowing over dips and keeps its composure on washboard with a trailer on. FOX sells them individually; this kit puts the correct four in one order.

Questions
2.5 HTO or 2.0 IFP?
Same FOX valving philosophy. The 2.5 has a larger body and piston and roughly 50 percent more oil, so it fades less on long rough roads and under heavy loads. If the truck is a daily driver that occasionally tows, the 2.0 4-5 in kit is the value pick. If it works hard every week or sees real dirt, the 2.5.
Should I add the steering stabilizer?
On a lifted truck with 35s or 37s, almost always yes. The 985-24-001 is a 2.0 IFP damper on the drag link that bolts to the factory stabilizer mounts in about 20 minutes and fits every 2017-2026 F-250 and F-350 at any lift height. Pick "Shocks + steering stabilizer" above to add one to the order.
Will the fronts clear my lift kit's brackets?
The 2.5 body is a half inch larger in diameter than the 2.0. FOX lists it for the common 4-6 in Super Duty kits; if your kit uses a tight-fitting front shock bracket, check clearance around the lower mount before ordering.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side. Fronts on the solid axle are a bolt-in shock, about 30 to 45 minutes per side, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
