Why the FOX 2.5 Performance Series
Trucks that work and tow, where the 2.5 in body (23% more surface area than a 2.0) resists fade under load and HTO tames harsh top-outs on rough roads. This rear IFP HTO shock is valved and sized by FOX for the 2017-2026 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty 2WD/4WD running 0 to 1.5 in of lift. The larger body and reservoir carry more oil, so damping stays consistent when the truck is loaded or the trail gets long. HTO adds a secondary shim stack that slows the shaft near full extension, so the axle does not bang the top of its travel over dips and whoops. FOX shocks are fully rebuildable and re-valvable, so this is the last IFP HTO shock the truck needs.

Questions
Is this a lift?
No. It is a shock built for the lift range shown. Match the lift range to your leveling or lift kit; a shock that is too short limits droop and a shock that is too long can bottom internally.
Do I need to buy two?
This part number is one shock. Order two for a complete axle, or check our matching front or rear shock for the same lift range.
Is it rebuildable?
Yes. Every FOX truck shock can be rebuilt, re-charged and re-valved by FOX Factory or an authorized service center, so it does not become a throwaway part when the seals wear.
What is HTO?
Hydraulic Top Out. Near full extension the shock oil is forced through a second shim stack that slows the shaft, so the suspension unloads smoothly over dips instead of topping out with a bang. It is position sensitive and needs no adjustment.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty (FOX 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series purchased after 3/30/2025). Warranty is to the original retail purchaser through the place of purchase; keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
