From ICON
A steering stabilizer resists the side-to-side motion and vibration that travels from your tires to your control arms, to your steering system, and ultimately to your steering wheel. The mount and intensity of the side loading and vibrations go up as you increase tire size and/or change your rig's geometry with a lift kit. ICON steering stabilizers use ICON 2.0 Series shock absorbers to isolate your steering components from road or trail harshness so you always have smooth, predictable control of your vehicle.
Why this 2.0 IR Dual Steering Stabilizer Kit
ICON's steering stabilizer uses the same 2.0 or 2.5 Series shock body as the suspension line to damp steering shimmy and wander on the 1999-2026 Ford F-250/F-350 Super Duty, especially with larger tires or after a lift.

Questions
IR, RR, PB: what is the difference?
IR is an internal reservoir, a self-contained monotube body. RR is a remote reservoir connected by hose and PB is a piggyback reservoir bolted to the body; both add oil volume and cooling so damping stays consistent on long rough sections. IR is lighter and simpler; RR and PB resist fade.
CDCV, CDEV, CDXS: which adjuster?
CDCV is a 10-position manual compression knob. CDEV is an electronic compression valve controlled by the ICON Intelligent Control module and phone app, which reads speed and terrain and adjusts on the fly; it requires the IIC install kit. CDXS is a manual dual-circuit adjuster with 10 marked detents each for compression and rebound. Shocks without a code run ICON's fixed vehicle-specific valving.
Can these be serviced?
Yes. Every ICON shock and coilover is rebuildable and revalveable through ICON factory shock service. The shock warranty is 12 months against manufacturing defects.
Who installs it?
ICON requires professional installation and does not cover failures caused by improper installation. Plan on a shop with a lift and an alignment rack for anything that changes ride height.
