Why this kit
The complete Bilstein 5100 refresh for a 2008-2016 Super Duty: all four shocks plus the steering damper, part numbers already matched. The 24-186018 fronts cover 0 to 2 in of front lift, the 24-186025 rears cover 0 to 1 in of rear lift, and the 24-196284 damper replaces the factory steering stabilizer that is usually worn out by the time the shocks are. Every piece is a 46mm Bilstein monotube with digressive valving and a limited lifetime warranty.

Each part ships in its own Bilstein box. Kit price equals the sum of the five parts at manufacturer minimum advertised price.
Questions
Why add the steering damper?
On a solid front axle the steering damper controls wheel shimmy and steering kickback. Larger tires load it harder and the factory unit is a wear item, so replacing it with the shocks saves a second job later.
I have a 2005-2007 truck. Can I use this kit?
The shocks fit, but the 24-196284 damper is for 2008-2016. For 2005-2007 use the four-shock kit and add the 33-170862 damper separately.
Is this one damper or two?
One. The Super Duty uses a single factory damper and this 5100 is a direct replacement. Dual stabilizer setups require a separate bracket kit.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side, fronts 30 to 45 minutes per side, damper 20 minutes. All bolt-in on the solid axle, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty on all five parts through Bilstein North America, processed through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
