Fits

  • 2021-2026 Ford F-150 4WD without Continuously Controlled Damping, stock height through 2.5 in of front lift, 0 to 2 in rear lift

Does not fit: 2WD trucks, Raptor, F-150 Lightning, trucks with CCD adaptive dampers.

How this leveling kit works

This is not a spacer kit and it does not include new springs. The lift comes from the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable strut itself. You remove your factory front strut assemblies, transfer your factory coil springs and upper strut mounts onto the new 5100 struts, and set the lower spring seat in one of the snap-ring grooves machined into the strut body. A higher groove adds preload to your stock coil and raises the front of the truck, from factory height up to about 2.5 in. The 5160 rear shocks are direct replacements for the factory rears with a remote reservoir added; they do not change rear height.

  • You reuse: factory coil springs, upper strut mounts, isolators and factory mounting bolts
  • You replace: both front strut and damper assemblies, both rear shocks
  • You need: a spring compressor (or a shop) to move the coils, a frame spot for each rear reservoir, and an alignment after install

Why this kit

Same leveling recipe as our standard 5100 kit up front, with a rear upgrade for trucks that tow, haul or run washboard for miles: the Bilstein 5160 rear carries a remote reservoir that adds oil volume and gas separation, so damping stays consistent when a plain body shock would fade. The 5160 rears cover 0 to 2 in of rear lift, so they also work if you add a rear block later. Four dampers, one order, correct part numbers.

Questions

Where does the rear reservoir mount?

The 5160 ships with clamps to mount the reservoir to the frame near the shock. Plan on an extra 15 to 20 minutes per side over a plain rear shock to route the line and pick a clean mounting spot.

How much lift will I get?

You choose. The front strut has multiple snap-ring grooves from factory height to about 2.5 in of front lift. The rear 5160 is sized for 0 to 2 in of rear lift, so it fits both a stock rear and a 1 to 2 in block.

Do I need a spring compressor?

Yes. The factory coil transfers to the new strut, which requires a spring compressor or a shop. Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours per side for the fronts, 30 to 45 minutes per side for the rears, and an alignment afterward.

Do I need upper control arms?

Not required at the 2.5 in maximum, though at the top groove many owners add aftermarket UCAs to restore ball joint angle and camber range.

What is the warranty?

Limited lifetime on the 5100 fronts and two years on the 5160 rears, through Bilstein North America, processed through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
