How this leveling kit works
This is not a spacer kit and it does not include new springs. The lift comes from the Bilstein 5100 ride height adjustable strut. You transfer your factory coil springs and upper mounts onto the new struts and set the lower spring seat in one of the snap-ring grooves on the strut body, from factory height up to about 2.8 in. The 5100 rears are direct replacements for the factory rear shocks and do not change rear height.
- You reuse: factory coil springs, upper strut mounts, isolators and mounting bolts
- You replace: both front strut and damper assemblies, both rear shocks
- You need: a spring compressor (or a shop) to move the coils, and an alignment after install
Why this kit
Ten years of 4th gen Ram forum threads land in the same place: 5100s instead of spacers, and 2.1 in as the highest setting on stock upper control arms. The 2.8 in setting looks great but is where owners report worn ball joints and CV vibration unless they add UCAs and a diff drop. This kit gives you the lift and a 46mm monotube shock in one piece up front, matched 5100 rears, and a limited lifetime warranty at every corner.

Questions
Which setting should I use?
2.1 in levels most 4th gen crew cabs and is the highest setting recommended on stock upper control arms. 2.8 in needs aftermarket UCAs and usually a differential drop to control CV angles on 4WD.
Do I need upper control arms?
Not at 2.1 in or below. At 2.8 in, yes.
Do I need a spring compressor?
Yes. The factory coil transfers to the new strut. Plan on 1.5 to 2 hours per side for the fronts, 20 to 30 minutes per side for the rears, and an alignment afterward.
I have a 2019 to 2024 Ram 1500 Classic. Is this my kit?
Yes. The Classic is the 4th gen body and takes this kit, not the 2019-2026 new body kit.
What is the warranty?
Limited lifetime warranty on all four dampers through Bilstein North America, processed through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
