Why this kit
The 2.5 Performance Series IFP HTO for a working Ram 3500. A 2.5 in body with a larger piston and much more oil than the 2.0, so it runs cooler and holds its damping longer with a gooseneck on the frame, while staying a simple bolt-in with no reservoir to mount. Two 987-24-004 fronts for a stock or up to 1.5 in leveled front and two 987-24-050 rears, FOX's leaf-rear shock for the 3500 that covers stock through 3 in of rear lift. This is the shock for the one-owner Cummins dually that tows every weekend and is going to keep doing it.

Questions
Ram 3500 or Ram 2500?
Since 2014 the 3500 uses leaf springs and the 2500 uses a five-link coil rear, so the rear shocks differ. This kit is 3500 only. The Ram 2500 2.5 HTO kit uses the same 987-24-004 front with the 987-24-005 coil-rear shock.
2.5 HTO or 2.0 IFP?
Same FOX valving philosophy. The 2.5 has a larger body and piston and roughly 50 percent more oil, so it fades less on long rough roads and under heavy loads. If the truck is a daily driver that occasionally tows, the 2.0 Ram 3500 kit is the value pick. If it works hard every week, the 2.5.
How long does installation take?
Rears are 20 to 30 minutes per side. Fronts on the Ram solid axle are a bolt-in shock, about 30 to 45 minutes per side, no spring compressor needed.
What is the warranty?
FOX covers 2.0 and 2.5 Performance Series IFP shocks purchased after 3/30/2025 with a limited lifetime warranty against defects, to the original retail owner through the original place of purchase. Keep your Hannah Suspension order confirmation.
